Our Journey to Mushkpuri Top

It was an awesome trip for ten of us from Gujranwala to Nathia Gali and then to Mushkpuri Top. We left Gujranwala at midnight and we were at our destination early in the morning. We offered Fajar Prayer in a small but very beautiful Masjid alongside the Muree Expressway.

Then on our way to Nathia Gali, we witnessed a dazzling scene of the rising sun, In the clear cool and pleasant environment of the way, the rays of the sun falling on the tops of the mountains give a view like a volcano burst.

Since it was morning time and we had our own conveyance, and the roads were all empty, we enjoyed the luxury of stopping by a lot of different places and exploring the beauty of nature.

After leaving our private van, we were on foot.

Nathia Gali is a huge Hill Station where we do not lack anything from the beauty of nature to awesome places to reside and shop.

We decided to hike and climb up the mountain with a wish to find its top and see any of its ends. But all we could find were the waterfalls and thick forests, which enchanted us so much in their beauty that we almost forgot that we were to find the end of the peak, which ultimately we could not, and returned.

Back down the hills of Mushkpuri Park, we can have two ways to go. The right side leads us to the Ayubia Pipeline track built in around 1930s. This track starting from Ayubia ends at Doga Gali.

The trees here at are very interestingly angled at their base.

The other side path leads to many worth-visiting places including Ayubia Park, Lalazar Park, all the way to Kala Bagh and beyond. On this track, there are many luxury and affordable hotels, resorts, and restaurants. In all these places we saw the amazing beauty of nature. There were many waterfalls coming from thick forests in our way. It feels extremely refreshing in the pleasant environment of Nathia Gali. All around in Nathia Gali you can easily find street vendors, food points and stalls to shop for anything you want, from garments to shoes, toys, handicrafts, and different types food items.

Best Season to visit Nathia Gali

In winter there is a lot of snowfall in this area and all the roads, streets, mountains and rooftops are covered with heavy snow. That is when most of the visitors and tourists come to this area to enjoy their vacations and winters.

Spring season is also a great time to come here if you love to explore the lush greenery and beauty of nature.

You need to know this before you go to Nathia Gali.

The slanted tracks here are very difficult for people living in plain areas or who do not have the experience of living in hilly areas. Most of the time you are either climbing up or walking down here.

However, you can hire horses which are available here as a means of travelling, if you do not prefer to go on foot.

Locals of here, business owners and administration authorities all together, have taken utmost care for the tourists visiting here. In many places, you can see stone-built trash bins to throw your garbage, and there are many places where you can find stone-built benches to sit and have a minute to relax.

A paradise for the lovers of nature

In this entire area, people can find and love to observe the wonders of the Almighty God everywhere. Mountains and hills are all covered with thick forests as we go upwards. Trees here are very old and tall.

Up above the hills so high.

After all this adventurous and tiresome climb, when we reach at top of the hills, we can find packs of cliffs full of grass and with no trees.

Fragrant waters at the Mushkpuri Top

When you reach the top of the hills at Mushkpuri Top, there is a natural lake of water. It is said that the water of that lake smells like Musk. That is why it is named Mushkpuri, and the top of that hill is known as Mushkpuri Top.

This is a perfect place to take some breath, have a meal, do a photo shoot and enjoy the tour with the family.
